What we see:

• The lymphoid population is predominated by small lymphocytes with lower numbers of intermediate to large lymphocytes. Scattered plasma cells are present. There are mildly increased numbers of neutrophils.  
• Interpretation: Reactive lymph node with mild neutrophilic inflammation
  
  

Let's talk about this case...

• There was no apparent clinical cause for the reactive lymphadenopathy. Because of the patient's recent history of starting on phenobarbital, it was presumed that this represented an adverse drug reaction.
